Penn State Studies Huddleston Vortex
Back in February of this year (2015), I was approached by Eric Gunderson of Penn State University. He and several fellow engineering students, were considering the Huddleston Deluxe Vortex tail as the subject of their project. Thankfully, their professor approved the project and now the data is in. In summary, the Hudd 8" vortex tail mimics the vertices of an actual 12" rainbow. I think this study shows us why the little 8" has so many high teen largemouth under it's belt. A big thanks to Eric, his team, and his professor.
